This shelter is very sad. No one answers ever, voicemail is full. I’ve tried to save Niño who was caught by Animal Control. My neighbor gave him to me because she didn’t want any trouble because he got out while they were moving furniture. I was hoping I could get niño out but I can’t without any valid proof even though an airtag I bought him(and black collar) is on him. I am very sad the original owners can’t give me something in writing. This place charges $17 per day, $35 for un-neutered pets, 160 general fee $20 for registration, $45 for chipping I believe fees for no vaccines. The woman who answered my husband’s call tried to pin him as rude and supposedly called her names but I doubt that. She just doesn’t want Niño to be with us. Sounds like she wants to keep the airtag and Niño. After i post this she’s really not gonna work with me. That’s fine keep telling me no. Im getting ready for Plutos surgery so I can’t help Niño anymore. But to whoever is trying to adopt him PLEASE don’t think about it just do it. He is a wonderful baby and just loves to love. Update! This place threw the airtag away instead of contacting me to pick it up. I added screenshots. These people are ridiculous!

We found this place by accident, meant to call another place but I’m glad we ended up here. Wow 🤩 wonderful place, clean with friendly staff, service is great and they don’t charge you arms and legs. Our 16 years old family cat was very sick so we needed a veterinarian to see her. Dr. Rodriguez saw our cat 🐈 Asal. Although she told us the very hard reality but she also was so kind and compassionate. 🙏 we give 10 stars ⭐️ to the doctor and staff. Dr. Made the journey for our beautiful Asal very easy and pleasant. Thank you doctor 🙏♥️🥰 I’m loving memories of Asal who went to heaven on April 28 2021 🤲🐈♥️

🐕 🐱 Love the sweet animals & the people that work & volunteer here. Very clean. My only 2 critics: not being able to have a little open but gated "courtyard" type area (like other shelters) to have a dog off a leash, throw a ball & see other than leash excited behavior. And secondly, wanting to pass out "free love/hugs/throwing a ball/excercise", as in if you aren't able to adopt animal - the animals can't come out to play 😞

I JUST adopted my pup today & could DEFINITELY use ALL of those items for him!! It would help me IMMENSELY, as i am on disability... P.s. I'm sorry about your pup😔
Hi Lisa, Unfortunatly you would need to contact the shelter that services the city where the pet was found, if it is a stray. Please provide the city where the pet was found. Thank you
What type of dog breed ? Can u post some pictures ? thanks.
Do they have like pirate cuts in their ears? If they're "tagged" with a cut like this < outta one ear then they are fixed and Farrell and that's their "habitat" and they belong right where they are at. If not then your welcome to invest you're time and resources to help apprehend them and pay the vet to fix them and help them decide whether or not they belong domesticated or tagged and released or just put them all to sleep.
If you still have it, I could use it. I’m going to start fostering senior dogs
Yes there are!!! They are very pritty too!!!
Still Available? I'd love to meet him!
Unfortunately, I did not have any luck with that. I looked into this a few years ago, when we moved to Huntington Beach. I hoped that if I was present, as their parent, it would be enough but was told volunteers must be 18. I understand the liability aspect but I also see children who love animals & want to help in their community by "sharing their love & passion for animals" at a shelter. Best of luck! 🐕 🐱 🐇 🐸 🐢

Yes, you can drop off at the OC Humane Society on Newland and Hamilton. They accept donations and they really need them and appreciate them, thank you
The Golden State Humane Society would be my first stop
I have no idea I have only driven past the society never went inside never had their services I'm sorry I cannot help you
Call SPCA, OR post photos on Facebook. That will do!
They do ask for those! If you go on their website, they have a list of posted items as their Wish List 🙂
OCHS does not euthanize for the public. AAA veterinarian next door does. Don't know the cost. What is the reason for the question?
I have a guinea pig I can’t take care of! I Found him on the street yesterday on my way to work! Let me know if you’re interested!

Pet Smart in Huntington Beach on Edinger, they will help you
Pet adoptions have vouchers that you can get that would eaither be free or low cost
no, but Pet Smart in H.B. on Edinger has every weekend cat adoption, the Ladies May be able to help
I just had to put my dog down yesterday and I had a service that comes to your home. I was able to hold her while she passed, so she wasn’t afraid. It’s called Lap of love. Not cheap but so worth it.
Yes
Yes the do.
The AA Hospital is okay. But I've heard & seen abuse from the Orange County animal adoption next door. In fact Newport Beach does not deal with them anymore
Try googling 'lost pet websites'... I I know there are a few here in Huntington Beach that people will post information on when they have lost and found animals. Also nextdoor.com might be a good avenue as well. Good luck!

(714) 537-8800 Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital... Very caring and compassionate people.
I just saw this post. I don’t know if you still have your cat but if you look up Care credit it is a credit card used only by vets and dentist. It is real easy to apply for with no verification of income. I used it to put my precious 18 dog to sleep. Payments are very low with no interest for a year.
Donate it to the Orange County Humane Society. They accept donations.
Im not sure, only because their cat area is pretty small, so not sure if they have enough space to keep sevetal cats at the same time.
Do you still have your dog if so what kind is it? I want another pet so bad. Lost my little maltese almost 2 yrs ago. She was over 15 yrs. Miss her so much. Must have a small pet.
Instantly, i think you have to fill out a form of "why" (like if he is vicious or bites mailmen or managers or kids) and if theybare over full you may jave to hang out for a couple of hours or call another affiliated shelter.
I'd try OCHS, WAGS, and /or Orange County Animal Services
