Very good area to learn rolling skating, they have classes on Saturday or you can do it by yourself

What a beautiful, smooth and fast floor! Since discovering this rink on NY's Day, we now try to skate every time we come to Portland! There is a fun music mix on Wednesday night, live organ music on Sunday afternoon, and we plan to go on a Tuesday night very soon. The staff are friendly, and a number of professional skaters are available, so you may watch and learn their skills. ✨💜✨

Been coming here since I was a little kid. The memories are forever in my heart and now we're able to share great skating experiences with our kids. Doesn't matter how old you are, the kid inside enjoys skating and you really never forget. The rink is still in great shape and the overall anesthetic of the building remains solid and throwback. Staff is kind and helpful and the snack bar seems to have enough goodies to keep your belly satisfied after a couple of hours of skating. We try to make the long trek a few times anyway and will continue to skate here.

So. Much. Fun. Been years, probably decade+ since my last visit. Vibe was the same, awesome. Always an amazing time.

Nope
Check their website and schedule for the most accurate info
They do have a area to learn
They have a skate shop with a good selection of complete sets (inline and artisan). They also sell separate parts and supplies.

The amusement park is open weekends this time of year. The roller rink is open year-round. You can find hours at http://oakspark.com/site/hours.html.
Not sure how much but here is their website. http://oakspark.com/site/
7.00 everyday except Friday and Saturday when it's 8.00. The website had a wealth of information pertaining to their hours and prices, it's probably faster then asking the Google community.
The amusement park area closes each winter but the roller skating rink is open all year.
We do offer an Adult Skate every Tuesday night from 7-9:30 PM. We also have adult only skating classes, which will resume in the fall.
They have a party pla e outside. You do bring your own food supplies. I don't know how much it costs for reservation. I think they have a place inside. I. don't know if they allow food inside. I know I see people had party for kids outside and it is covered patio.
The ages that may participate are dependent on the class. Age requirements are listed at https://www.oakspark.com/skate-class.
Basic Admission is $10 And includes basic rental or have own skates. Optional inline or premium Rental available for additional fee
No telling. Hopefully soon 😁
No reservations required. Skate rental is available
When you call did you check their hours to make sure they were open? Besides that there were few go in and talk to them in person during business hours they have catalogs of 100 skates to choose from.
My daughter started skating there when she was less than two years old.
You can find hours on the hours calendar at http://oakspark.com/site/hours.html. Just click the "Click for Hours" on the day you'd like to come and all hours are listed there (it is a Google Calendar so make sure your browser is set to allow 3rd party apps). Saturdays we offer 2 open skate sessions: 1-5 PM and 7-10:30 PM.
2 or 3 hrs of free skate then private parties and the another free skate at night
Great question! At the discretion of our managers, wheelchairs are absolutely allowed on the skating floor. It is a great idea to give the rink a ring at 503-233-5777 to talk with a manager before coming in just so they can make sure there won't be any issue.
Flat rate to get in then additional rate to rent skates. It depends on style if you want traditional skates or roller blades, but it is cheap, between $2 and $5 ($2 being conventional skates and $5 being high performance inline skates)
It plays Thursday evenings and both sessions on Sunday. Thursday night we're open 8:00 - 10:30pm (changes to 7:00 - 9:30pm during the summer), and Sundays we have sessions from 1:00 - 5:00pm and 7:00 - 10:30pm.
The park includes a 100 by 200 feet (30 m × 61 m) wooden roller skating rink, open year-round. The rink has had a pipe organ for most of its history; since 1955 it has been a Wurlitzer model with four manuals, moved to the rink from its previous home at Portland's Broadway Theatre, where it had been installed in 1926.All pipework for the organ is mounted on a platform hanging over the skate floor.
