My friend and I were riding the Fanno Creek trail and decided that our stopping point after 15miles was to hit up John's Marketplace for a beer and some snacks. Great beer selection and had the altbier that was just perfect for an idyllic summer day ride before the temps here in the Portland area head into the 90's - 100F. Great seating outside and a bike rack to post up your ride onto for safe keeping while you chill out. There are the Multnomah Village food carts across the street too if the mood strikes for more variety of food.

I'm a native Oregonian who moved to the east coast 2 years ago. I have missed the amazing gluten free beer options I had in Portland. It was nearly non-existent in RI. Much to my surprise, my return visit to Portland has me still searching for gluten free beer. I'm not sure what happened in the time I've been gone but there is no abundance anymore and it continues to be hard to find. Then I discovered John's Market! There I found shelves and refrigerators full of gluten free beer choices! Not just one brand, but several and some I've never seen. I was so happy! For as long as I'm in town this will be my gluten free beer go-to and I will definitely be stocking up before I leave town.

Great place with tasty sandwiches at fair prices. Huge selection of beer to go, ability to drink both draft beer and packaged beer. Very chill spot to grab a sandwich and a beer.

Loved this place! Tons of craft beer, a deli/grill/restaurant inside. Offers inside and outside seating. Aisles and aisles of beer, coolers and coolers of craft singles and 4 packs. Plus they have a parking lot, making it easy to stop by and grab some beer.

Yes you can, they also have draft beer and food
I'm sure they do I don't drink anymore but they have beer from all over the world
Pliney The Elder has not been distributed in package form in Oregon for many years. If you do find it, don't drink it. At the very least, it will not be representative of the great beer that it is.
No.
