Good luck if you ever want something fixed in your home they will never do it We just moved out Rent went up three times when we live there within two years. Very bad people and doesn't answer you back. Our shower ceiling basically fell in they did nothing about it.

TERRIBLE!!! We used their services for 5+ years and there wasn’t a month that didn’t go by that they was a problem. They held our money in an account which the rent, house payment and other bills were paid out of and there was always a problem. We were paying the county for a sewer hook up bill that they had sent in which was combined with another customer of theirs and our payment went into that persons account, or they forgot to pay the bill and we were charged a late fee plus interest! Another time we wanted them to notify the tenants that we wanted to replace the deck and they put down the wrong dates in the notice so the weekend we were free, we couldn’t do the work because of too little notice. They also wouldn’t pay our house payment until the rent was deposited, even though they were instructed to pay it on the first because we had the money in the bank. That happened almost monthly. We were not able to fire them because my husband had been in a serious accident and I couldn’t focus on trying to find someone else. When we finally FIRED them, I had them cut me a check for the money in my account and they had shorted me $2500 because they thought that was the tenants deposit, which it wasn’t…terrible bookkeeping, terrible response when trying to contact them and VERY INCOMPETENT!!! DO NOT HIRE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO BABYSIT THEM CONSTANTLY! Very unprofessional and LAZY!!!

My entire experience with Gordon Properties has been terrible. They are a predatory company built on regulations that ensure they are making the most money off of their tenants whilst doing the very least amount of work possible in order to make a profit. They are predatory towards women and mothers as well. I was threatened when I moved in and had to contact the housing authorities in order for Gordon Properties to follow the law. I understand that what I described above is late stage capitalism, but we have an obligation as humans sharing this planet to do just a little bit better. This company is built on taking advantage of tenants in order to make a dollar. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a property company or looking to rent go with another company if you do not want to be complicit with the dehumanizing system this company operates from. And as of last week, I am getting kicked out of our home during a global pandemic. Not because I could not pay rent, but because they are angry about me asking them to follow the law, and because they can get a lot more money for my unit when they get me out.

Awful. I rented with Gordon Properties and they were nice and helpful until you sign the lease. They were not timely in fixing any of the disgusting health hazardous issues with the property and they charged me almost my whole deposit for problems I had previously complained about that they refused to help with. Chris Gordon in particular was a nasty person to do business with and refused to take my calls or call me back when I had questions about why I was being charged so much. My neighbors in the complex had the same complaints. P.S If you look at the yelp reviews, somehow all of the negative ones were "filtered" and there is only one positive review showing. If you plan on renting with them, make sure to talk to other renters first.
