Cat is amazing. If you have a sports injury I 1000% recommend seeing her and getting dry needling. It changed my life!

I'm writing this four hours after my first session, I'm still in heaven. Jacqui found every single one of my problem areas quickly and worked each one with the perfect amount of pressure. The hurt so good was extra good. And for the price? It's a steal. Booking my next appointment ASAP.

I can't say enough good things about UBE PT. I've been in and out of PT for most of my adult life due to high school and collegiate sports injuries that have turned into chronic injuries and pain. When I moved to Maine from Boston, I was concerned I wouldn't find a physical therapist that specialized in performance and sport, as I still like to be very active. Cat is the best physical therapist hands down that I've ever had. She understands the human body so well that when I came in with wrist pain, instead of treating the wrist she found, over several sessions, that it was stemming from an issue in my upper back, neck, and shoulders. She doesn't just treat the problem, she investigates where the problem is stemming from so that patients can be pain-free and develop the strength and mobility to prevent the problem from happening again. Her facilities are clean, she has great equipment, and the rest of the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

We are located on Perry Road in Bangor. This is the same road as the Cole Transportation Museum and across the street from Kennebec Rental. We are in the same building as Crossfit Bangor.
Most likely we do! We are contracted with the majority of insurance carriers in Maine. Unfortunately, we do not work with MaineCare/Medicaid. Feel free to contact the office (992-4000) to confirm that we are In-Network.
Unfortunately, this question is always difficult to determine and almost always it depends. If you are working on some items that your physical therapist prescribes for home, you typically improve at a faster rate and don't require as many sessions. However, if you have a laborious job or home duties that you can't avoid, that may delay your rate of improvements. If you have a question about your specific situation, feel free to call the office and talk to a therapist directly to help clarify this question.
Yes you can! Often some issues resolve quickly or don't pertain to an specific injury, and often these can be treated in short 15-minute sessions. However, even if you are coming in for a specific injury that will be treated each session, this can also be done through a self-pay option if you don't have insurance. Our self pay rates are found on our physical therapy page on our website: ube-more.com.
