Great place for women who have babies removed by DCF

As bad and as deviant as the clearwater location. A sad excuse for a recovery program. Without going into specifics: the most heinous counselors I've ever encountered. Try anywhere else!

Tons of resources for those looking to get help with sobriety and a better way of life. Staff are friendly and respectful (for the most part). If you are struggling with addiction, this is the place for you! They offer many programs ranging from outpatient services to long-term residential care.

I did not have a great experience there. Overall it's a decent rehab program (PAR Village) for a woman who is court ordered and/or with some sort of DCF case plan. There are entirely too many clients (50+ adults, some with babies and some pregnant, some on methadone and some 100% clean) I kept getting differnt information from day 1 by staff-from the rules to when my child could come live with me. I was under the impression he would be living with me after I got settled, like a week, but that wasn't the case. They said it would take 30 days or so. I went there voluntarily with no legal or DCF enforcement and was on their waiting list for 4 months only to be told after a week that THEY decided their program wasn't the level of treatment I needed. They moved me to their Transitional House and to Outpatient counseling and said I could only stay a month because the bed was supposed to be for another client from the Village who wasn't ready for it at that time. Overall I'm grateful for them allowing me to stay (since I literally relocated just to go to there and would have been homeless with my 3 year old) but am very disappointed. That place is mostly government funded and I feel they turned me away because they didn't see any $$ signs.

Ummm because maybe, just maybe, some of them are up they're up to nefarious activity? Like the counselor at par who deals with drug dealers he met from his intakes. Uses them to facilitate the false narrative he "choreographs and creates" of certain individuals he's USING to further his career? Yes that's right, they have one in particular who sets up interaction with a guy he was using as a case study- without that man's solicitation of PAR or that counselor for any addiction help. He has attempted to use false propaganda to create this false image to help fit the false narrative he's created of this guy. Totally unacceptable for a professional to use his position unethically and stray outside of normal boundaries of behavior for this type of work. How PAR lets this incompetent counselor, and several others, still remain employed is a farcical mystery to me. I have many friends who've been here and stated likewise of particular counselors they'd interacted with.
Yeah if you're a female intake you can expect the male counselors to push boundaries of decency with you. Totally unprofessional, very unethical. The old blk guy with pony tail and glasses should be fired asap! Watch out!
Um I wouldn't try to get a bed here. Go to acts or another rehab/detox for REAL help. They have serious problems with male counselors at this PAR AND Clearwater PAR. Like- serious problems!!! Not cool for girls whatsoever! Ask around from other girl intakes if you don't know what i'm talking about! Good luck girl!
this is not the place you want to go to get clean. There are FAR better ones in tampa, like not even close in level of counselor concern for your wellbeing and in conditions of premises. Do you want to bring bed bugs home with you?
But You DONT want to visit highoint location or this one. Both have severe bedbugs, but this one does BY FAR have better counseling. Plus you'll be waiting like 8hrs to get in detox up in highpoint with nasty, rude, male counselors. I recommend ACTS or riverside in Tampa- waaay nicer, helpful counselors who actually care about your dilemma and ensuing progress. Good luck, jesse!
I'd reconsider bruh seriously for any other rehab/detox besides par. Do you really wanna be lumped in with so many other reputably bad counselors which par seems to have an abundance of? Have you not heard of all the things some of them have been accused of???
weekends only for a few hours each day. Don't bring them any like provacative type clothes if its your daughter or sister or girlfriend cause they have been known to have male counselors going through girls stuff like perv type stuff. Just basics!
Yes, and the mother SHOULD be around daughter here at all times! They have been known to have male perv counselors going past boundaries of ethical workplace behavior. Like trying to breed relatiinships with female-and male from the content discussed with me- intakes for future relationships upon exit to general society. Theyre are some good counselors here, but many conniving, self serving ones. Intakes will always be at risk and susceptible to manipulations by those in positions of power. Its risky here. Hope this helps you and daughter while choosing proper treatment. Good luck!
Yes you can normally get in on weekends, assuming availability
Yes I seen people get in there who had no insurance or even homeless they can get grants 4 people you have to call him and talk to him and explain your situation
Par village in for the female clients, including some with infant children. It's located behind the main facility and is obviously private
