This is a high class, laid back, detail oriented spa. The staff is very professional and the facilities are very clean. I am big and tall (6'3") and the tank I used is large enough that I don't touch the sides. Showers are located in each of the float rooms. There is a relaxing foot spa in the reception area. The masseuse that worked on me was exceptional! Amber was intuitive, thorough and had a very healing technique. I love the Float Shoppe!

There are 4 tanks - 3 enclosed, one open. Each in a separate room with shower. So 4 people can float at once.
They have a comprehensive web site that explains everything. The have reasonable hours, and are very helpful on the phone. Not sure what you mean by "timeline", but i had no problem scheduling a weekday float with just a couple of days notice between Christmas and New Year. During the weekends, it might be tougher.
It's expensive unless you get a GROUPON & usually then it's a little under $50 for 90 minutes. Well worth it. The staff here is AMAZING.
