Edit to add that I paid to have the insurance with emergency roadside assistance and I still got billed for the towing and tire. I went to pick up my rental and the tire pressure sensor was on. I talked to a woman at the counter and she said that bmws have problems with their tire pressure sensors and it will be fine. The key had a tag saying "leaky tire" but we didn't see it at first. The tire was completely flat the next day. They knew there was a problem and still decided to rent it out. I called for roadside assistance and was told they would send a tow truck and a new car between 4-6 hours. 7 hours later I called back and was told there was a problem with my ticket and it had to be escalated. I was on hold for 30 minutes with no answer. I was given the number for dispatch and was on hold for 20 minutes before I gave up for the night. I called later and was told they had to reopen the ticket for another 4-6 hours. I didn't end up getting a new car for a day and a half and was told they don't do refunds. I seriouly got the worst customer service I've had in my life. I will never recommend renting a car through them

Started check-in process on internet the day before which made for efficient/easy pick up of vehicle. Got exactly the vehicle I asked for in great working condition. Was able to pick up vehicle in one city and drop it off in a different city--awesome! Easy return policy with same day emailed receipt. Reasonable price for vehicle. Nice job!

I have had numerous terrible experiences with Budget. Also understand Budget, Avis, and Dollar are all in the same company. A quick list of problems - additional charges I can't even find in the fine print but get when I to check in(and I have looked over all the fine print), multiple times not having the vehicle I have booked, unprofessional staff all the way through the experience. Accusations of car damage that obviously isn't tracked, so take pictures of everything. If at all possible stay away from these three not worth the grief and experience. I wouldn't even give them 1 star if I could.

Gross…my Budget rental from Portland airport today. Smells like wet dog, AC doesn’t work so it’s just pumping hot wet air in circles, and mold everywhere. Called the 1-800 helpline, sat on hold forever, left my number and no response. Sent online request through their website, with pictures, nothing. Call the local rental car counter - it just beeps like a busy signal (bad number?). And I keep looking at the little “this car was cleaned thoroughly to prevent COVID” note they left stuck to the windshield knowing that was a lie….

This location has moved to the Portland airport rental car facility. It is in the airport rental car garage.
I think the Budget RAC branch on Holman has closed. My suggestion would be to call them early in the morning to find out where they are actually located.
I guess do it like they say first then if it doesn't work go an find someone there who can help you....
No there isn't. If you have a flight that is earlier than the site opens, go to the airport and check your rental in at the AVIS station.
It's off-site, but there is a regular shuttle from Island 1.
This site closes at 6:00pm and opens at 10:00am. I would suggest another rental place.

I've ran late before and have been told that I can drop it off right at the Airport.
Yes, you catch it outside on an "island". Exit out at the end of all the other rental car agencies inside PDX, cross over to island and the shuttle comes by every 15-20 minutes.

The budget location at pdx is open 24 hrs. The shuttles to the location run till 1am. In the case that you arrive later then it is suggeated that you go to the Avis counter to pick up your vehicle. I hooe this information was helpful.
Yes, and only a 5 to 10 minute drive to and from. The shuttles come by regularly and have friendly, helpful drivers.
If you're asking about how the car you selected to rent is doing (if it's ready), you'll have to call them.
I wouldn't count on your car being ready when you arrive. I'd prepaid and selected a class, but still waited quite a while. Give yourself extra time to be safe, at least 30min. If the weather is poor, maybe even longer.
It will cost more than usual. It might be there in the contract. Ask the staff there and choose different drop off location.
Not sure, we returned where we picked up. One way rentals cause the price to increase very much. You can check on line when you go for reservations.
They have a shuttle to pick you up and drop you off at the airport. The actual rental car facility is only about a mile from the airport.
