Dogs are allowed in the park but they must be leashed. They are not allowed on the beach, but if your looking to give them a swim to cool off, try the town beach and boat ramp on Randall Rd. Where it's allowed. If you really want to swim with them come on up to Wendell state forest and use Wickett pond.
No pets
When I was there, I didnt see any, but I dont see why they arent allowed. Just make sure not to bring them near the water since there are many kids there that might get scared.
