Awesome state park. GREAT hiking on both the top of the plateau and the valley floor. Multiple places/roads to stop, hike and take scenic photos.

Gorgeous area with plenty to do! There is a fee to enter the state park. The sand dunes are amazing. Hiking is very scenic & fun with different levels of difficulty ranging from easy to hard on a scale.

Beautiful park! You can drive through it and pull over at various spots along the way. Picnic areas and clean bathrooms. The weather was nice this time of year. I would love to come back to do some hiking or camping.

Fantastic Utah State Park located so close to Saint George. Easily accessible, short and longer hiking trails through wonderfully different areas of red rocks, petrified sandstone & white rocks. Wonderful extra programs like stargazing parties and full moon walks with USP’s naturalist Phoenix. Informative, effective & fun! Bring the kids to the sand dunes or grab the mat for yoga. Love this place so much for all the beauty and accessibility throughout the year.

Much Beryfull.very good weather .in all seasons.hire a tour guide.
Yes, some trails may close, but the park is open year round.
It's not bad at all here. It is nothing like northern utah! It rarely snows here.... it is cooler in the canyons but I don't think you will need to be in snow clothes or anything ... it's better to put thermals on under your clothes then if you get too warm you can shed a layer. And btw it does not get below freezing that often, so just keep an eye on the weather so you have an idea of what to pack ... bring a pack or back pack with a coat or warm sweater and lots of water, it's usually dry weather no matter what time of year ... I grew up in Bunkerville Nevada, it's about 40 miles south of St George and 100 north of Las Vegas... I just moved back to the st George area ... it's hot as hell in the summer but I hike year round.. always bring lots of water. My pack has a camel back in it so it comes in handy. And snacks to keep you going
During regular business hours at the front station
same as the rest of the year, just a little cooler and a little grayer.
Most likely hot. It was in the low 100's in late June and windy
They are easy trails. We saw many families with children on the trail.
No
No fishing in snow canyon state park but there are several other places to fish within a half an hours drive of the park.
