I used to go here all the time. Now the parking attendants don't let people in the lot, even if there are spaces. Not worth going if I have to put up with that. It worked fine when no one was controlling access. Don't waste your time.

Free after 4:PM, bathroom changing area, picnic tables, a few barbecues, beach volleyball, sandy beach, large swimming area, with separate lap lane (3) wide. A few weeds, usually clean water, however after all the rain of late and many boats going bye making waves the water was definitely murky this time around. There was a team of lifeguards and officials at the gate present. Bathroom

Great beach, water doesn't get a lot of waves from boats. Clean bathrooms on premises. You cannot bring rafts or toys in the water. There are lifeguards on duty. It costs to park. Beautiful water, beach, views. Worth the drive.

Beautiful swimming! Need a state park pass or day pass to park (costs money). Excellent restroom and picnic facilities. Note: the beach itself is NOT at all shaded - bring sunscreen and an umbrella. Also, there is no cell service in the area, so keep this in mind!

Dogs are allowed in the park but they must be leashed. They are not allowed on the beach, but if your looking to give them a swim to cool off, try the town beach and boat ramp on Randall Rd. Where it's allowed. If you really want to swim with them come on up to Wendell state forest and use Wickett pond.
