Contact the code of ethics and the health department, they will inform you of your rights and even walk you through legal suits if necessary. If your set on living your lease out, they will open up an account through escrow where your rent money will be held until the the proper repairs are done. I'm not sure why they think these inhumane living conditions are acceptable. It's an insult to a person's intelligence to have to tolerate poor living conditions, especially when your doing your part as a tenant. Good luck!
