Is there a beach area within walking distance?

There is a pier just across the road from the hotel. If you take an uber from the hotel you can be to Sunset Cliffs in under 10 minutes. Completely worth the Uber cost out there

Wonderful craft beers, hot dogs, one type of burger, and various sausages on the menu at the Fathom grill on the pier. Try to avoid peak hours for best experience. Limited outside seating only at this time.There is a beach, adjoins the waterfront across from the hotel, and free fire pits and picnic areas. For more sand and less grass just walk toward the Bay Club Hotel.

No beaches in walking distance; like Anthon said there are multiple beaches within a half hours drive.
