You can use a debit card tied to your checking account as long as it shows a MasterCard or Visa logo on it. No pre-paid debit card. Additionally, bring your drivers license and a utility bill in your name showing nothing past due. Easy peasy! Also, if you rent through Enterprise, they will pick you up and take you home after you return the car. Oh yes, replace the gas you use. And you accumulate points when you rent frequently which can give you an upgrade or a discount on your next rental.

Driver's license, credit card, proof of insurance or buy insurance from them. You can pay cash. But you need a credit card for deposit hold to you return vehicle.
