To flee ! We had reserved a car at 9:00. Arriving, a queue in front of us. The person at the counter announces that there are no cars available at the moment and that we must wait for arrivals. The cars arrive in dribs and drabs and they clean them up one by one before giving them away. We had to wait 2 hours before getting our car back. We had a 30 minute city tour scheduled for 11am which of course we missed because of that. Luckily we were off season and the establishment agreed to place us on a tour later in the day. I dare not imagine in high season! When picking up the car, the person put my mother as the main driver because she had made the reservation in her name, even though we explained to her that she was not driving and that we were going to drive with my spouse, which which was well indicated in the reservation, where I was listed as the main driver, but she didn't want to know. In short, instead of an additional driver, we had to add two. We also got an SUV even though it was not the category we booked, which meant we had to pay extra at the XL car parks. We returned the car at the New York airport as planned. The service just as bad. No inventory, no receipt, nothing at all, just leaving the keys in the car. We were told that we would receive the receipt by email, still nothing. Impossible to go to the counter on site, there were about fifty people in the queue, so at least 3 to 4 hours of waiting (rentals and returns combined in the same line). We were refunded less than expected on the deposit. We don't know why. However, we left the tank with more gasoline than we had had at the start (another point, moreover, we recovered the car almost empty of gasoline, we had to stop at the first available station) . We will never do that again!
