I volunteer there on occasion and can tell you they are VERY short staffed and depend entirely on volunteers and donations, so they likely are not prioritizing non-emergent calls. It is MUCH better to go up in person or go into the resale shop/adoption center in Cottonwood Mall, Going to the Dogs and Cats. They have a ton to do at the “ranch” and not enough people to do it so taking care of the animals will always come before returning phone calls, and that work is never ending.
They have t answered my emails either. I have a beautiful mid sized dog that needs a new home. I recently had surgery.
Word limit? The husky and pit bull hang around near 10th St. and Northern near the arroyo.
So far this is my experience as well, two emails and calls, even went into the mall to try to track down the puppy I want and the volunteer couldn't get ahold of anyone either . Kinda disappointed..
They never answer phone they always let go to voicemail
