Super friendly staff that really seem to love the animals. Quick and easy adoption! Loving our new family friend!

I have tried to adopt 2 different dogs and they make it impossible. I had the first dog for a month and when they took him to get fixed, they wouldn't give him back because he had a heart problem.and was unable to be fixed. I feel this is something they should have checked out before fostering him out. The 2nd dog I've have for a about 2 months and he was able to get fixed but they failed to call my landlord and ask if I was allowed to have a dog (which I am). The day they called rhe landlord, he was drunk and in a mood so he told them I was not allowed to have the dog even though I had previously discussed it with him with no issue. So now I have to give this dog back. It's no wonder they are overpopulated. If they would do their job in a timely manner, this wouldn't have happened and now both dogs have to go back to a smelly shelter, in a cage after having a good home.

I applied to adopt a dog but thought it would take a long time to find the perfect one. I was surprised when they called asking if I was willing to do an emergency foster for a dog that was having a hard time after being dropped off by her owners. I couldn't be happier to have her. It hasn't been a week yet but we are already bonded. She is getting more playful every day. They did not mind me calling and asking questions after we were home and did all they could to give me wheat I needed to take care of her. These are kind people who really care about what they are doing.

I unfortunately had to do a cat, i think it was 40$, might try to work them a little they don't want you to abandon.
Yes, call Morgan County Humane and they can give you details.
Yes
it's not anymore
No but they can give you a voucher to get a discount. Low cost in brownsburg is the cheapest place we could find and they did great with our girl
Re-home them, if you care for them check references before giving them to a new home (vet reference etc.) Be sure you are giving them to someone who can handle them or give them to the shelter.
We're at work 8 to 12 hrs a day and can't take any time off
Call animal control
You can volunteer at 16 and I think you work at 18
Post on Facebook or another social media site. Or even CL. Or call a pet sitter place.
I don't know about Morgan County. Hamilton County does. They provide a service to take it off your hands. You might call.
No such thing as a free puppy.
If you're in need of dog food go talk to them at the shelter. I'M not sure they can give it away but at least it's a start for You to get help.
Call the human society 765 349 9177 they may have some low spay neuter clinic's they can refer you to.
Call them and ask. Or go there and give them a description of your dog and they will let you know if your dog is there.
Go in an see the selection.
Go for it!
