There are places to get in the river.. not sure if it is allowed, we were looking for catfishing spots but the river was running too fast through there.. not sure I would suggest it.. may be dangerous.. the swimming pond was open and always had people in it having fun..
They shut down the swimming pond indefinitely.
Not sure about river wading- they have a swimming pond/beach that the kids love. They also have a fishing pond and a pond to learn kayaking (very small)
