If you enjoy outdoors of any kind this is a great place. I ride dirtbikes, camp, shoot and ride mountainboard out here. I see people doing many other activities. Great place to get away but still be close to civilization

It's public land managed by the federal government. My understanding is that it is allowed during certain parts of the year. That said, I've spent a lot of time there and can't recall ever seeing a prairie dog.
