Just beautiful! Be up to date on the weather before your trip. The wind can make this a very gnarly trip

I grew to love McInnis Canyons after several trips. This is NOT your National Park, State Park kind of place. In other words, don't expect infrastructure, large crowds, multitudes of people or parking issues. This is a primitive area. The trails do a great job at cutting into the arid desert & wilderness without themselves becoming an eyesore. Some of the trails connect with other trailheads and there's usually outhouses at the trailheads. The canyons are quiet and solitude is everywhere. Lots of lizards, bighorn sheep and supposedly, even mountain lion. It's a great place. Just make sure to BRING WATER

Beautiful place to go hiking, camping, mountain biking, and even a place to take your horses! How wild is that? More of a hiker myself, and heard there is a pretty cool little slot canyon in McDonald Creek so I had to make the hike. It can be adventurous going through Rabbit Valley, so a good clearance vehicle is advised, 4x4 for winter and rain.

Arches National Park is a beautiful scenic drive with plenty of hikes and rock structure to look at, most of them with arches in them.

Right off of I70, take the rabbit valley exit. The Jouflas camp is the best campground.
Good question. I dont know the answer to that
