The SPCA is required by law to take any animal that is turned in. They charge a fee you'll have to call them to find out what that fee is. their goal is to keep animal and owner together so they will ask questions to find out if it's a landlord issue, affording food or a vet care issue and things like that.

You can take them to the drop off location at the SPCA. They will get adopted out.
