The building was very impressive. But the presentation of the plants was pretty bland and we found the selection of plants very run-of-the-mill. The bonsai were impressive.

My girlfriend and I have a family membership to Krohn. I love this place and I come at least twice a season.
There is one room that still has the original old cobblestone floor. They have plans to redo it in the near future. The rest of the facility has been made accessible.
Here's the info from Krohn Conservatory's website:

There is parking on Martin Drive before you get up to the conservatory. There are signs directing you to Presidents Grove which has street parking behind the facility. You will have to walk down a flight of stairs if you park there.
No and to be honest I wouldn't advise it because they do have a Cactus room where they could get cactus spines in their noses. Service Animals are allowed in accordance with the American Disabilities Act.
I didn't believe there is yet. There's certainly nothing about reopening posted at the building about it.
Why is it closed?

Depends on the time you visited, I think their hours are 9 to 5, holidays may change the hours of operation. I can't believe that social distancing would be an issue as the staff can control the movement of visitors through the facility.
People take photos there for all kinds of events. If you are not disruptive, they generally permit you to take photos. Just be mindful and respectful of others :-)
Why the first reviews are exactly the same??? How such a great place even came up with the idea of fake reviews?

If you look at the reviewers, they all reviewed the same 11 places. Rather than thinking they are fake reviews from the location, I believe it's a single person that just has multiple accounts.
That being said, that does look silly
No you are not. You would have to purchase a photo permit for $150 for one hour and additional hours are $50. This permit only allows 12 people, this includes the photographer.
NOTICE
photo permits are NOT sold during the holiday show.
Yes, they have decorations and holiday train sets throughout the exhibits.
What is the Choi Choo exhibit about?

If you give a call you can ask to speak to the manager and explain the situation, a lot of times they will accept it, i believe you have to transport though.

I haven't been there for years. I know they have Hundreds or thousands of of plants. Around the holidays they sell seasonal plants at a good prices. There is even a room set up like a desert. Awesome place for getting a breath of fresh air. Can't wait to go back.
Every year from April to June I believe there is an exhibit. It changes rooms occasionally. However, it is most often in the local room that has citrus trees and local type flowers such as phlox and marigolds. Krohn has many different types of special exhibits that can be found on their calendar online for more information.
