Are there any fish here? What species? If not, where in the Guadalupe river is there fish and is there anywhere to fish that’s free?

Fishing in any state park is free and does not require a fishing license. At this park, up river from the swim area is where I've caught catfish, pan fish, & fairly small bass... down below the cascading rapids is decent fly fishing

You can fish anywhere on the park. You can fish in Boerne by River rd. for free. I always catch bass there.

There are Guadalupe bass and other fish near/or at the park.
