How should I sort my recycling to be able to "dump and go"? The website says to have materials pre-sorted and lists items that are accepted, but it's not clear what the actual bins are that those items will go into.

You should keep glass (food-grade jars and bottles only), metal, aluminum cans, plastics #1 and #2 (look for the symbol on the bottom) and paper (cardboard, drink carriers and mixed paper) separate from each other. Stow the glass, metal and aluminum cans in your car first, since they'll be taken out last. Stow the plastics and paper in your car where you'll be able to get to them first.
