I visited today to verify my identity, 30 minutes later everything was set! People who work there were polite and very professional.

The lady who handled my case gave me wrong information. I tried fixing my address with her while I was there since it was getting sent to my old address she informed me that since it was my first filing that she wasn’t able to put it in the system but they would FORWARD MY MAIL TO MY NEW ADDRESS since I had the post office change my address……. They sent my refund check back because she didn’t want to take the time to fix my address while I was in her face. SMYRNA, GA LOCATION

Have tried several times to call and speak with a representative. Each time I get the same message. Due to high call volume your call cannot be taken at this time. This is unacceptable.

Why is is so difficult to find out where to get IRS forms without ordering them through the mail and waiting?
what time and do have appointment
Can I get a tax transcripts for 2015
The only thing with online they DO NOT have all info needed versus getting it from the office or tax preparer...
Yes
It is best to make an appointment, but sometimes they will still see you the earlier you go the better chance you will have
No. You must call and make an appointment. If you show up without one, you will be turned away. They are short staffed and can only serve those with an appointment. I was able to get an appointment about a week from when I called.
Yes. But you need an appointment.
no! They are no longer in that building.

This was just verification for me, so not sure.
You can create a profile on irs.gov website and pay it there

No. Make your request online and it will be mailed to the address the IRS has on file for you.
Thats right
No
Only if you are assigned to a Revenue Officer. This office is appointment only, but the Downtown office on West Peachtree accepts walk-in payments and can issue a release of the Notice of Federal Tax Lien.
Ignore the calls it’s a scam the irs will never call u
