There are camping spots in the tent area that are extremely close if not right on the river. But if you're in a camper you can park along the edge of the river but it's raised it's more like you're overlooking it.

No, I don't think so. You have to check the site or with a Ranger about where you can rent to camp. There are sites that overlook the water that are nice.
I dont recall seeing any sites right along the water, but there are a bunch of sites within earshot of the river... The banka are not cleared of vegetation for a good view...
There are sites close to the river but I don't think there are any on the river. You should be able to see all the sites for rent in their site.
