Pro's: Really enjoyed 5 days of fall camping with electrical hookup. Campsites weren't too close together, views of the lake were awesome, restrooms and pay-showers were okay but not great, mainly due to their age. Laundry available. Campfire rings and picnic tables at each site. Cell phone signal (TMobile) was strong enough for us to create a local hotspot and get some work done and watch Netflix. I didn't bother to check for wifi. Con's: People were a bit inconsiderate with after hour noise and for some reason a big RV next to us ran their AC all night - both minor incidents. Many people had no idea how to build a fire in the fire rings so the smell of starter fluid and punk/soft wood hung around. Sad. Dogs must be on leash at all times, so we has no place to throw tennis balls for our two retrieves. A dog park would have been a nice feature, but no luck. The surprise was - shotguns going off a few hundred yards away early in the morning-found out there's a waterfowl hunting area attached to the lake (where dogs can be off leash in a thickly wooded area). Hunting seems kind of odd here since the lake is nestled between several subdivisions, but it's good news for the hunters in the crowd, and the noise was far enough away that it was more of a pop-pop-pop than a big booming sound. No individual water hookups, but there were multiple places to fill containers.

It's $35 a day to stay here. But, you still have to pay $.75 to shower for 3 mins. There is no soap dispenser in the bathroom...yes, they were removed. I'm shocked you don't have to bring your own toilet paper 😂. The laundry room light doesn't work and it eats quarters. The overall vibe isn't that great. Out of all the places we have stayed this will be one we don't come back too.

I was at a wedding here two weeks ago. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Great setting surrounded by water and trees. Wonderful spots to take pictures, enjoy beautiful scenery. Plenty of seating for our party of ~60. Re other reviews: Yes, the bathrooms could use lighting at night, and are…unpleasant. It is a state park though—to be expected. I did use them during the day. The smell that people mention was the wind shifting from a nearby agricultural town—just bad luck, and it shifted back soon again. It did not last long. In CO, you just have to wait a bit for the weather to change.

Yes. Nice ones with all the hookups. It's a popular campgrounds, with a truck that comes around with cheap ice 6lb bags, firewood, & the campground is only 2 minutes away from a town that has everything. Electric only for RV hookups, but cold fresh water you can fill your tanks up with every 3-4 campsites.

$10 for a day pass
No. Bring your own Kayak for free. They also rent paddle boards on site, or many other boat types at Boyd Lake Marina.
Pretty sure the beach is closed, the digital sign out front says so (everyday I drive by) but if you have like SUP boards, or boat, or kayaks you can always swim off those in the water.
There are grills available at the campsites and most picnic sites. Charcoal grills are not allowed on the swim beach.
$24 for campsite plus $8.00 park pass fee (unless you have yearly pass.)
2 weeks at a time at any State Park with camping accomodations here in Colorado
RV sites are $24 a day and checkout is at noon! You also need a Colorado parks pass, which is $8 for a day pass and $70 for a year pass.
Fishing is slow during the day early mornings and late evenings seem to be best for your fishing if you're from the shore if you are fishing the middle of the lake if you can fish in the levels of 30 to 70 ft you'll have better luck but in general the waters too warm for the fish at this time and they go deep and they stay there
$10 for a daily vehicle pass that is valid until noon the next day. You do have to be actively fishing throughout the night. Hope this helps.
It's really an RV park and doesn't have tent only sites. You have to reserve through reserve America. Go to the park website and you'll see the link.
You will have to check the website for availability
Camp sites that you can either plug into or pitch a tent. You could probably bring in a tiny house (cabin) and use that as well.
Yes, each campsite has a large iron ring for fires. They have cooking grates attached that can be flipped over onto or off of the fire. I'm camping here right now and can go out and take a picture if you'd like to see what the fire pits look like.
State parks do not offer monthly camping. You can stay 14 nights in a 45 day period, stay at another park, then return. It is day by day for the fee. At this particular park it is $36 a night. If you do not have an annual pass on your vehicle it is an additional $10 per day or $80 for a year (whatever month you buy it in it is valid until the end of the month next year) and the annual gets you into 42 State parks. All sites are pull through and electric, there is a dump station and fresh water fill in each loop. Hope that helps.
A cycling and walking trail runs from the north end of the park to the south end as part of the 20 mile trail that loops the city of Loveland.
No just State park passes

Almost
Just during tbe summer. I'm pretty sure the facilities shut down through winter but they do have them..
Dump it at one of the bathrooms.
They don't have tent specific spots but you can come in camp at any site with A-tent it's only a 2 week maximum stay though
Dog are able to go in water but not allowed near swimming beach area. We have gone to other areas to allow our dogs to swim. I would recommend have a leash near by
I believe the park is completely open water might be a bit cold to go swimming
Dump station is in the campground, in front of loop D. It is for registered campers and is policed by the rangers.
They mark every 1/4 mile
Yes they are allowed. Dont worry though, the rangers will be by every 30 minutes to tell you what rules you are not breaking and almost breaking.
Yes. Unless marked otherwise. I believe taps are city water sources.
Yes, they have places to do that at park but not at each site
