They took a dog we were adopting and have held him for 10 days. They refuse to give him back or tell us when they will. This organization is terrible.
Do you have pictures if yourself with the dog , or any physical evidence that it is your dog, be advised there is a leash law in Texas if she was running around loose then there is little you can do accept the afore mentioned advice, adopt her , BE ADVISED ACS will gladly euthanize her so please act quickly, abd she is your baby so make sure they know you're sincere. how did they get to her? never let acs take the animal. always refuse. supposedly to adopt you have to meet income requirements and if you don't they will not let you adopt even if it is your dog.
I'm not sure what the fee or fine is, but adopting a pet isn't that expensive. Maybe you could adopt her.
You could probably wait and adopt her it would probably come out cheaper then paying all the fees
