Why can't I get animal control to pick up stray cats or dogs roaming around the streets and homes in my neighborhood? They have no collars or tags what can I do?

Have you actually filed a service request for stray animal pick-up through 311 and/or ACS's website? I would also contact your councilmember.

Per the center, cats are considered Wildlife, so they can roam free. However, if you have a stray cat problems, as in too many or they have attacked any pets, put in a request by calling 311
