My family went to the river walk last weekend. It is definitely not a family friendly place after dark!
I just came from there .It was crowded and very hot .I went there for first time .There is a lot to see.Too crowded for me to go back.
It is open every where It is very cool 😎 👌
There's a small section being worked on but it won't impact you walking about.

Didn't see any construction at all. We even took the boat tour around the walk
Some part are being close, but still others part that open to the public and very peaceful and beautiful walk also boat tour open too.

There is alot of construction but it's primarily around the Alamo grounds. Didn't see any parts closed on the Riverwalk though.

Certain areas of the riverwalk are closed for construction but has accessible areas to get around it's a better help to find and ask some of our Ambassadors in yellow shirts for info as they are very helpful in getting you around the area and to find what you are looking for

Various buildings and fronts area being renovated as is Alamo plaza, but the river walk itself appears to all be open

there is some but worst case you have to take a staircase and cross over a street or to the other side.

There's parts being renovated but there are paths through it all...no large swaths are shut down.
Went this past weekend (30th -1st ) and we didn't see any construction or closed areas.
