In 2019 the will be a Legoland and Sealife Aquarium in the Rivercenter mall.
Not much entertaiemt for a one year old. Make sure they stay away from the water. When busy the one year old could get trampled.
Sure, mine did. The little ones really like the water falls near Alamo Plaza and all of the ducks, cormorants, and other birds. Definitely visit the San Antonio Aquarium, very interactive with the animals.
Not really. There is not a lot of stuff for kids on the river walk. Might enjoy the boat but that's about it

As long as you keep a hold of them, most of the time there is no rail between the path and river
