That is dependent on where you choose to picnic. If you picnic near Stoney Lake there is plenty of parking. Then it's a matter of unloading your stuff, walking in & picking a spot. There is also a picnic area at Kittlefield & a parking area there as well.
You can park along a lot of trails. You can park at Lake Oquittunk. There is a pavilion and benches.
You'd want to park near Stony Lake or Kittle Field.
