We are considering a visit to Presque Isle/ Erie this summer, can you tell me best route for Lodging? We will have 2 adults and 3 kids age 11,3,1. We are considering a 5 night stay and will have a 6x8 trailer that we will need to park.Not an RV

There are a couple of nice hotels on w.12th street not far from Presque Isle state Park and Waldermeer Park, all nice for a family vacation. All within a couple miles

There are several hotels nearby. Try the Clarion Hotel or the Comfort Inn. They are close and have plenty of parking.

There are many hotels to lodge at throughout Erie. Depending on prices, some next to Splash Lagoon on Peach St and I-90 would be a hit with the kids. There are other chain motels closer to the Park and the amusement park in front of Presque Isle named Waltemire Park. Most major chains have ample free parking for your vehicle and trlr. Using Google Maps will belp identify all the motels nearby.

There is a nice campground right outside the park but may be a little pricey.

There is a KOA one exit south of I90 off I 79. Easy drive to all of the Erie attractions.
