The back gate was locked, so from the beach side we had to walk quite a ways to get in & decided not to pay the entrance fee.

8$ each to climb to the top. Helps in up keep of light house. Tour guides are really knowledgeable and friendly. Nice view and a wonderful pice of history.

There are 3 lighthouses. This is the only one you can enter until the 3rd opens back up in the spring. $8/ person. We almost missed it while leaving the park. Totally glad we stopped. There’s also a gift shop.

The Lighthouse is open 7 days a week through September 8, 2019. We will then be open Thursday through Friday for the month of September and limited hours in October. The grounds are open 10-5, with the last tour to the tower scheduled at 4:40. For more information, call 814-833-3604.
No. The tours are scheduled in groups of 10 about every 30 minutes. The circular staircase is very steep and contains about 75 steps. There is a less expensive tour that doesn't go to the top. Both are fascinating and informative!

Thank you for asking. The Gift Shop will be open for the final 2 weeks of October on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm. Yes, the stamps for all 3 Erie lighthouses are available there.
Friday through Sunday till end of October, then closes for season. So, the 28th will be the last day open to the public.
