Day spa relaxation type massage is great for pampering yourself and short term stress reduction but usually the benefits only last a couple hours to a day or so. Medical massage uses clinical techniques which helps eliminate causes of pain, enhances function of joints, muscles, and movement. Benefits tend to be much longer lasting than general relaxation massage.
Unfortunately Medicare does not normally cover medical massage. Our new client introductory session is $60. It includes an evaluation by one of our medical massage practitioners and a full 60 minute therapy session.
