Wondering if there is a minimum age recommendation for visiting this museum? I have 10 and 12 year old children, and wonder if they can handle this, or if I should wait until they’re older. Thoughts??

I personally think it's a great age to start learning about this part of history.

Any middle school kid will learn amazing things there.

Good ages. I've been there with kids that age and it was fine. It's not very interactive. It's a look at stuff and read the description kind of museum. As long as they are up for that kind of experience, it's very informative and valuable.

I would recommend about 13 if they know about the Holocaust. We took my daughter a few weeks ago, she is 13. She did skip the video of the live killings at a concentration camp. It probably is too much for their age.

I would wait, I had a 70+ who couldn't. You have to have strong guts. You can prepare them. Unfortunately American kids aren't exposed to disasters. Sorry if I disappointed you. Each case is different too.
