There is the garden, warehouse (which is sorting and inspecting foods), kitchen which is mainly helping with packing foods but sometimes involves cooking, and then admin. Depending on group size and ages, some are better than others. For example, kitchen volunteers have to be at least 13 or 15, while warehouse is definitely younger. If it's a very large group and you don't want to split up, the warehouse has a larger capacity.

If you register online, you can pick from activities like gardening, sorting food items, etc. I've gone on a few Friday mornings with a small group and we sorted and inspected bread/pastries and canned/boxed foods...the friday morning volunteer shift is roughly 9-11am if that helps.
