I fell behind rent due to covid and with my luck it happen right when the window closed for rental assistance in Austin. Madeline helped me with assistance and was a total life savor. I went from anxiety attacks to peace of mind right away with her sweet selfless character. She doesn’t just see cases as just that but as people. We truly adore her and are very appreciative of her work and kindness. ❤️ thank you foundation for the homeless for all that you do and have done. God bless.

This place helps families with a lot of needs that you may have if you are in need. They are very friendly. They all have a big heart and will go out of their way to accomodate you with anything you may need help with. They treat you like family.

Hi Harper. It's awesome that you are involved and want to help. Our families are always in need of various items for their personal care and items for use while in shelter. A comprehensive list can be found at this web link: https://www.foundationhomeless.org/other-donations Thanks!
We only serve families with minor children. To assist your friend contact Lifeworks. They may be able to assist. Findhelp.org is a good online resource as well. Finally, have him go to Sunrise Navigation Center and complete a coordinated entry assessment.
Hi. We don't have age restrictions but minors need a parent/guardian to supervise them. Thanks for your nice words about our programs and your interest in our mission!
We provide shelter and housing assistance to families with minor children that have been referred to us through ECHO's coordinated entry referral process.
No, we do not. We do not have the ability to transport it or store it. Thank you for thinking of us.
We assist our clients enrolled in our housing program obtain ID if needed. During our breakfast program on Tues and Thurs, we provide this assistance when volunteers are available to do so.
We serve families with minor children with shelter and housing assistance. All clients must first be referred to us through ECHO's coordinated entry assessment process. We only allow service animals for clients enrolled in our programs.
Hello, Amy! The first step to enter into our shelter is to do a Coordinated Assessment with ECHO. The website is austinecho.org/ca. You may not meet the requirements for our shelter, but ECHO will guide you through the process.
John: I am sorry but we do not have a place. Unfortunately, we can only take families with children. Please go online and do a coordinated assessment with ECHO (Ending Community Homelessness Organization). They coordinate referrals to all the homeless organizations.
We serve families with minor children that have been referred to us by ECHO. ECHO requires a coordinated entry assessment before anyone is placed on the referral list.
