Board of directors who run this company should resign - who sits on information for over two weeks in a digital age? Unacceptable and disrespectful to your fellow Texan
Frederick DeWayne
I rated four stars because they do a lot for the homeless community and I really appreciate it but they could really use a receptionist desk.
FRUMPY CRUST
Great place if you need to eat and rest your head for the night and work on your future on getting a place

No, which is a shame. The Salvation Army, right next door is the only women's shelter. I'm surprised they don't have more help for women! I've known women who said they were battered, some were, some weren't. But that got them in a better shelter, probably more help. There are more housing programs available now, then when I was homeless. Salvation Army may know of different programs. Women can go inside the ARCH, ask about programs, etc, but not overnight sadly. They still may help, or direct you to the best options. May you be blessed with a solution, soon! Hang in there!
Amy you will have to go next door to ths Salvation Army to stay. Front steps is an all Male facility but the Salvation Army has a place to accommodate what you need. I hope that helps. GOOD LUCK .
I supplied 50+ people a few days ago with super warm blankets and some gloves. I know there was another 100 or so I had to turn away. :(
You can get in during the day, but to stay there you must be on their case management load and there is a 300 person waiting list.
😔😭😳💔👀
Have to do an intake, just stop by ARCH and does except Felons
It would help to have some kind of I D
I am sure some agency can help you out with that. Contact St Vincent DePaul. I don't have the number but they can assist you. It's called palm school if I am not mistaking
Is place eat,for homeless,to go
Go into the front door located on the patio and and ask the person behind the desk located directly inside the front door. If they can't answer your question then ask to speak to the manager on duty.
I think it's 18 and up
@donald moody The amount of time you can stay depends on many things, like your case worker and your living situation. If you really need to stay longer to be safe, they will generally let you have a bed for at least a few months. It would be better to ask them directly; try to visit the Arch or call them to get the best answers.
Yes they will as long as you use social distancing and a mask. Usually a caseworker will help you with that.
They do not house kids but they can refer you to somewhere so you won't have to separate from your son.
They do business out in public
What facility are available to a homeless man?
Red Cross.
Try to get on case management at the arch don't lose your car or your can work as a uber driver or lyft
You need to try the Salvation Army. Front Strps is only men. And yee you can bring your dog
Nope. And you have to be on their case management load to stay there at all which has a 300 person waiting list.
Yes ,thankyou
There are other places like salvation army
I am not sure how. Maybe explain your situation to the bus driver they might let you ride for free. Front steps don't have a shuttle.
Looking for jeremy vaughan 6ft 140 punds last seen town lake metro park area. Family and red cross has food clothing and housing. Please help
Go into the ARCH and get an ID card (I don't remember having any ID, so don't worry). They'll have an ID card made. From then on, each evening (used to be around 6pm), they have a line to pick a ticket/number in case everyone can't get in, they do it lottery style, but I always got in, unless in the winter, but they get everyone shelter somewhere if cold weather. Most everyone hanging out front don't stay there, unless outside, late at night because they'd rather party, go home, etc. If you have any mental health problems, etc(depression, anxiety, etc) Intrigal Care A.T.C.I.C.(Austin/Travis County Intrigal Care) may help you get a regular bed each night, as well as housing sooner! Don't know if there's a certain age you have to be. You may get any help sooner if under 18, but I'm not positive. Go into the ARCH/Front Steps and tell them you need an ID Card, and explain your situation. They'll let you know the options available, and there are more options now, then ever. Many blessings!
The salvation army
I know a female with 5 young girls and a baby on the way homeless where can I send her for help asap in elgin tx or austin
CapMetro has bus routes in Round Rock now. 🚌 https://www.capmetro.org/roundrock/ I hope this helps.
You will have to eat at the salvation army right next to it, the arch does not serve dinners
You need to go look for him. Mostly everyone is out on the streets anyways. Drive by perhaps?
At front steps you are responsible for your own belongings.
You can do your first coordinated assessment in about an hour, you might spend 20 - 90 minutes waiting for someone. Just depends on the day they're having. Once you're registered you can't do lottery for a bed at Sally next door, or stay there that night. When you answer the questions, make everything sound as grim and bad as possible. Worse circumstances get a higher score. You might he homeless 1 - 3 years before your name hits the top of the waiting lists for free housing. It's a sketchy area, so be cool. Always charge 50¢ for a cigarette and don't be a target. Good luck stranger.
