I have a couple of questions about the passport process. Do you need an appointment at this location ? Do they take the passport photo for you? And do they only do the passports on certain hours during the day? Ex. I need to go after 5pm during week

The Post Office on the Grand Concourse closes promptly at 6pm Mon-Fri. That includes all services. I honestly don't think you need an appointment but they do take passport photos here.
