Camping is best in great horned owl if you dont need hook ups. If you do. Youll need to go to the South turn. If you want beach area you will go to sail boat beach.the camping is close to the boat dock. Closest to the dam.
If you are coming from Provo the better family beach is the 4th Turn in option. 1 is the boat ramp, 2 is the old marina, 3 it a nice area, but 4 has the better beach option with rentals and other things available.
There are some camping/beach spots but most of the riverside is privately owned with the state run beaches being up by the reservoir
