5 Star Reservoir! Great boat launch, friendly park ranger. Plenty of room to get away from other boaters, and GREAT FISHING!

Best place to spend some time near the river. You can get your own boat or rent it from here as well. Provo river is huge and you will have a great time here. Open from 6-10. Minimum entry fee is $15.

Fun lake to go boating or just to float on the lake. There is a large bouncy land for them kids on the Island park area but its overpriced in my opinion. $20+ for 1 hr. You can rent canoes, boats and jet skis ect. Highly suggest wearing water shoes! The shore is very very rocky.

Beautiful surroundings in May, but not the best place for kayaking & paddle-boarding imo. Better for motor-boats. Has an area for swimming/kayaking/paddle-boarding, but not ideal. Greenery is amazing and there are even many really nice mini-pavilions for cookouts. Open grassy areas had lots of (dog?) poop but still allowed for some fun spike-ball. Beach areas were very rocky and had lots of spiky and/or dead plants growing from the mud / between rocks along with broken glass & discarded fish tackle. We went to the 1st entrance (from the west/Provo area) - found it to be mostly just fishing & motor-boat focused, then went to the ‘Island Beach Day-use Area’ for more kayak-friendly space.

Camping is best in great horned owl if you dont need hook ups. If you do. Youll need to go to the South turn. If you want beach area you will go to sail boat beach.the camping is close to the boat dock. Closest to the dam.
Warmer than Flaming Gorge, yet still chilly until you adjust. I bought a cheap wetsuit on ebay. No, I don't see anyone else wearing one! Note: Go early if launching a boat. Ramp gets very crowded. Entry into the state park: $20 per car, I think. I wish I could tell you that recent fires aren't making it smoky, but...ugh. Mt. Timpanogos still looks magestic though.
Yes it's a one time fee for parking and it last the hole day. It's a great place to swim to so yes it is for everything water
Sun rise and yes there's a Sandy Beach
I believe so in season
You reserve a camp site on the website recreation.gov The beaches aren't terribly rocky.
Not in the state park range.
Yes as long as you have booked a site thru reserve america. They will keep a small portion for there fee.
