Yes they do. If you were born in TN, they will get you a copy of your birth certificate. And they will pay for your state ID as well.

Just a little error fix from Chris catinella's post. You don't have to be born in TN for them to help with getting your birth certificate (as I'm from GA and they helped me), it just takes longer. They also help with social security cards, jobs, transportation, eye exams, and once you've been in their program long enough they can help with housing as well. All around they are an amazing group of people that never ask for any payment from you and try their best to help you get on your feet.
