Try the nashville rescue mision. They have a program. Called "pathway" its for people who have a fulltime job but no place to live. Its in a clean dorm and you have a real bed . not a jail mattress
You can call Project Return to see if they can assist you. Or go online at projectreturn.orginc.
Yes they do. If you were born in TN, they will get you a copy of your birth certificate. And they will pay for your state ID as well.
Possibly,they have alot of resources.
The picnic is tomorrow 12pm-3pm
What kind of help
Yes michael project return can help. I know that they can help with a job. I work through them. They actually care about us. My name is Olean Thompson and i too was released from prison Jan 26th of this year after serving 17 years. The staff understands our situation. They are not judgemental. I urge you to go Monday if you can. Once you complete the class they will employ you or refer you somewhere. They give you food bags and all day bus passes everyday you attend. Tell them Olean sent you. I pray that you take all that they have to offer. I also pray that you fight the fight and make it. I know it's not easy. Life is hard. But they can help you too make it easier. Godspeed my friend. Hold on!!!!!
Project return will extend all of the services it has to offer to anyone who has served 30 days or more consecutively and who were released within the last 12 months. They do not discriminate based on age, nature of your charge or gender. Veterans are welcome the same as everyone else so long as they meet the incarceration requirements I listed above. County jail counts the same as prison, so long as 30 days or more were served.
Murfreesboro Rd bus. Get off at the Greyhound bus station and it'll be across the street from you.
