I just came home tonight to no air. I've only been here about two months and I'm already planning to break my lease. They claim that maintenance is behind on work orders but expect us to pay rent on time. They r also trying to make me pay a 130$ light bill that they said they paid for my unit when i was told i had a week to get utilities n my name so even if they're making me pay for that week there's no way n hell it's 130$ for one week. And if ur not ghetto or rachet i suggest u dont move here. People here have no consideration or respect for neighbors.
It's law if your a.c. does not work in an apartment that's supposed to be equipped with a.c that your lease can be broken and rent withheld. BUT you have to put it in writing the request to have it fixed basically leaving a paper trail. They have 15 days to solution, or lease can be broken and rent withheld. Don't believe me look it up.
