Can I visit the alamo after hours of operation to take pictutes?

Outside yes... But the interior will be closed to the public.

Not on the inside grounds. And they will be moving the statue that you can see from the outside soon

I went after hours to the Alamo just a couple of days ago for my first trip there ever. I couldn't get inside the building. But I could see the outside of the four and I could see the outside of the Alamo itself and I was able to take pictures of all of it along with some in front of plaques to have out there and the commemorative statue. If you look in the pictures for the Alamo my pictures are posted.
