There were many other buildings that were there before that are now long gone. The battlefield however was not in the exact spot. The remaining part is still in its original location.
No it still in original place. But the city of San Antonio is built all around it now. The original buildings on the out side of the Alamo are gone. You can see the original walls, but is under respiration our guid lived there her whole life. 9 generations. And is a teacher.
