None. The real alamo was never used. There is a scale replica, elsewhere in Texas, laid out just like the original Alamo. This site is in open country with similar topographical layout as the Alamo. THAT site was used for movies, since the real Alamo is surrounded by the high rise buildings of modern day San Antonio........ actually, I stand corrected. Movies set in the battle for the Alamo never used the Alamo, but the historical site was. At least once....."Pee Wee's Big Adventure" shows Pee Wee Herman (Paul Reubens) walking up to the Alamo entrance. But no, I do not know of ANY movies about the Alamo being filmed at the actual alamo.
If you find a good history book(s) take a walk around Commerce and Houston it's amazing some of the buildings are on top of the original saloons Doc Holiday and other outlaws played poker. The San Antonio River also has it's place in history in the heart of Texas.
None. It is a state shrine. All Alamo movies were filmed on creative sets. One in Brackettville, Texas and one near Bastrop, Texas.
