Hi Karen, That is a great question and the answer is that we actually don't have visiting hours at the hospital anymore. We recognize the importance of support from friends and family to our patients and as patient care is our primary goal at the hospital we recognize that patients should have the right to visitors at any time during their episode of care. Patients also have a right to designate a "support person" for emotional support. Limitations on visitation may be imposed based on clinical and/or operational grounds but if such a limit is needed, we will be sure to explain the reasoning to both our patient and the visitor. I hope this answers your questions.
Call the hospital.
