Had a great experience with Ryan and his staff in the recovery room. Staff was attentive and available. ICU was fantastic all staff couldn’t be nicer and attentive to my needs.

After waiting 5-6 hours in the lobby, I waited 2 hours in the E.R. for an ultra sound and CT scan. It was fascinating that the Tech for the CT Scan and the tech for the Ultra Sound each brought up how they disliked working at this hospital. The first tech brought it up on his own accord, and I asked the second one to get another opinion on the place. She readily told me her own thoughts. The E.R. doctor was cold and only looked at me to say that I was being sent in for scans. His bed-side manner was not bad; rather, it was non-existent. Regardless of my medical condition, this was a 1 out of 10 rating on how a human being should be treated in an emergency situation. Or, really, in any medical situation. I would not recommend this hospital to a single person for any ailment. I see that this hospital places an automated comment at the end of each comment, as if that will make other people's E.R. experiences or my own seem not as bad as it sounds. I assure you that this E.R. is very poorly staffed and managed. Let the frequency of the comments on the E.R. over a period of time suffice to convince you not to go here for a medical emergency.

This place is horrible,if I could give it zero stars, that's what they deserve. So sad to see such a non caring, dirty and uncomfortable health system. The wait in the Er's waiting room was almost 4 hours,my situation was dyre and they sat by the front desk and laughed and gossiped as if they were at the mall or club. Even worse, and I felt so sorry for this lady n tears with her baby on a wheelchair waited the same time. They just totally ignored her, until she couldn't take any more and left. The room was so dirty my husband had to put tissue on the chair to sit,my stretcher sheet looked like it had blood and stains on it...the nurse, not doctor was not very comforting or empathetic and I felt dismissed....they offered me tylenol...its really disheartening how ppl suffer to the hands of health care professionals (Lawrence)when they are already suffering and I'm need of a little compassion.

AVOID unless you like shockingly high bills and zero person to speak to about the bills. We have a very good ppo insurance and they collected over $100k in the last couple years with our kids and other visits. But clearly, that wasn’t good enough for them! Apparently, they thought that they could bill us $21000 for a two nights room charge alone without asking us, my the bill was so high, the insurance company’s cap was exceeded, and they are asking for $3k more after the bcbs paid them $17000 just for the room charge (their entire collection was over $40k for a normal delivery) This place is not nice either, it’s old and falling apart. I got a MRI that came out hazy and needed another one at a private practice, but for that MRI they charged for over $5k. When I asked to speak with someone, there’s literally no one who cares, they just ask you to pay or ask for financial aid. No one is available to speak about this outrageous practice. I will fight this to the end (through legal insurance) and make sure that my neighbors and friends refrain from going to this horrible place that literally rips your eye balls out.

Not sure but ask Security
Usually they set up the delivery room on 3rd and long. The doctor then calls for the snap where you will be instructed to push with all your might which then sends the child to the doctor. At this time, the head nurse is usually running a post option. If successful, the doctor makes the pass to the nurse where the baby is spiked into end zone(incubation table). TOUCHDOWN! You are now a mother.

Thats something to discussed with the hospital. Someone elses circumstances may differ to yours and they could work out differently from a financial aspect.
Call the main number. They will direct you to the proper department.
There is a parking lot for the hospital on Pondfield Rod at the min entrance. It is valet parking and there is a special rate for outpatient procedures/appointments.
There isn't any lodging within walking distance, but closeby Yonkers and Dobbs have good hotels.
